ANSWERED PRAYERS!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your love, prayers and support but spiritual, emotional and financial. What a blessing you are. We write this journal enteries because God tells us in Revelations 12:11 “And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” We believe that the words of our testimonies carry great power to conquer the enemy because His word says so. That is why we share our stories, our testimonies.

We have had so many answered prayers this past week that I wanted to share all God has been doing.

#1. Nelson, in a recent journal entry we mentioned this young man. I found him drunk, beaten, bleeding and unconscious along the side of the road. We took him to the hospital where he received care. We brought him to his aunties after being released from the hospital. She was willing to take him in for the time being until he is healthy enough to be on his own. That same night that she took him in, some men stole her purse at the market. All her money was in it, the money she needed to restock her store, so she didn’t know what to do. We asked that you would please pray for this beautiful family. You did. We had a family offer to replace the money that God had stolen. We were able to bring the money to the family today, including the money for a blanket for Nelson because they didn’t have one for him. They were so overcome with joy that they just started praising and praying right in the market place today. I am grateful for your hearts to give out of what you have for a family half across the world that you don’t even know. Nelson, will get his blanket, the auntie can keep the store running. We praise God! Nelson started bible study with us on Tuesday and his smile will truly light up the world.

#2The young girl, 20, pregnant, scared, wanting an abortion. She even tried three times to abort. God sent us to her. She chose life for her and her baby! We are so thankful for your prayers. The auntie, we believe has decided to let her stay at the house, even though she first said that if she confirms a pregnancy that she won’t be able to stay there. So thank you for praying. We believe the baby is well and momma has a home to continue to live in. We take her Saturday for an ultra sound, so please continue to pray for the health of the baby. God is good!

#3 Sheila. The young women, 18 years, from a local church here who was kicked out of her house and homeless for two weeks. Sleeping in the town and then at the church. A elderly woman is taking her into her home. So she is off the streets. We have had a family, moved by her story, come forward and have been willing to pay her school fees so she can finish high school. She wants to be an accountant. We are thankful for your prayers and to the family who has sacrificed their finances for this sweet girl. Her story is very sad but God has turned what the devil meant for evil and is using it for good. God is so good all the time.

#4 A young woman in the capital city, pregnant. Scared. Alone. Chose life. We will be videoing her testimony this weekend to share over the radio and on our website and facebook page to help other moms who are facing unwanted pregnancies. God will use her in mighty ways! She is already helping to counsel other young women who are facing this situation and we are so proud of her.

#5 Medina. The young mother who, tried to kill her baby by putting him in a pit toilet. She will be having her DNA test done in the next week. If blood matches, she will be able to see her baby for the first time in 2.5 months. We are going to surprise her with a visit next week hopefully! Thank you for praying for her. Sometimes life and what it brings makes us do things we would never think we would do. She was also going to take her own life because of the pain of what she had to endure. God saved her life physically and now we are working on introducing her to God so she can be saved spiritually.
