We are excited to give an update on one of our momma’s and other things that God is doing in Uganda. Our momma “E” has graduated from her sewing class. We are so proud of her. She walked over 2 miles one way every day, 4 miles round trip, to make it to her sewing class for 3 months. She walked in the rain or shine. They had class on Fridays that was optional and she was there for everyone of them. We are sooo proud of her!! She is just 17 and chose life for her and her baby that is due beginning of November. We know God has great plans of her life.
She has been attending bible study the past four months and has recently begun birthing and parenting classes. She is learning and growing so much each week. She is a blessing to all of us. Thank you everyone who plays a role in our Woven2Gether Family. This is the fruit of all of our labour. God is faithful!
Susan is our counselor that is encouraging “E” each step of the way and speaking life over her. She has faithfully discipled her and taught her parenting skills that will help her to be a better mother. She listens and understands “E’s” heart.
Please continue to pray for “E” as she is preparing to deliver. That her and the baby will be healthy and the delivery will be smooth and the “E” will easily adjust to being a new mother.
It is amazing what God can do. This beautiful young woman came so scared that she believed the only solution was to end the babies life through abortion, now she stops by the office just to hear her precious child’s heartbeat, with a huge smile across her face. The love she already feels for her baby is truly a miracle! We love you “E” and we are so very proud of you.
We are raising money for a sewing machine for “E”. The cost for a new macine is $120-$140. U.S. Dollars. We have already received $20.00 already. If you would like to be apart of blessing her so she can start her own sewing business please click on the give link below and write a note that states “sewing machine for “E”. God has big plans for her life.
While in the states for our first week, I received a prayer request from our counselor Susan that she had an abortion minded client come in, who was wanting an abortion, and was sure she was not going to carry the baby to term. We counseled her for almost a half an hour educating her on fetal development, abortion procedures and risks. By the time she saw the development of her baby she said she can no longer abort the child. She was appalled by what abortion does to the child and has chosen life.
The beauty of what God does is he takes what the enemy meant for evil and He turns it to good. This client came to us because one of her friends had aborted and was struggling with depression and on medication now because of the choice to abort. She said she wished she never would have done it and begged her friend to talk to us, trying to tell her she cannot make the same mistake she did. She loved her enough to tell her the truth, to stand in her way and help her to see another way. It took great courage to do this.
Now both girls are coming to discipleship class each week. They ask so many questions and their hearts are so excited to be learning the word of God. His word is truly active and living and has life pulsing through it. Please continue to pray for these girls. For the momma that she will have a healthy pregnancy, and that both girls would find their way back to their Heavenly Father who is drawing them home.
We are so thankful that God is using us as vessels that He can move through to save the lives of his children both physically and spiritually. He truly is a great God!!
God is in each step we take and we thank you for being a part of journey. We couldn’t do it without you. Your prayers and donations are what have made it possible for “E” to have this amazing journey she is on. Your seeds will produce a harvest, if we don’t grow weary in doing good.
We want to thank you for your continued love, prayer and financial support. This is the fruit of the seeds you have planted into our lives and Woven2Gether Ministry.
If you would like pour into what God is doing through us, you may give a one time donation or become a monthly supporter by clicking the “give” link above. This will take you to our donations page where you can choose your donation details.
Our ministry is pretty much fully funded with the help of our store sales and monthly supporters so thank you everyone who supports Woven2Gether each month. We are still needing to raise support for our families living needs in Uganda so Todd can leave his work in the United States and join us full time on the mission field. We are needing $1000 per month in support, this covers our rent, food, water, petrol for our car, and electric. We are believing God for 10 supporters to give $100 per month or 20 supporters to give $50 per month one time gifts also will help us reach this goal of $13,500 per year.
We believe in the utmost integrity of using our donations for what they are intended for. All donor funds have been solely used for the ministry and not for our families needs. This is why Todd returned to the states for 18 months to work, so we could have our families living expenses covered in Uganda. So now we are asking for our family so that we can continue to serve God in Uganda as he reaches his children with truth and light.
You may also mail donations to John Hedlund, C/O Woven2Gether, N5603 Tower Hill Road, Spooner, WI 54801
Thank you again for all your love and support.
