We have had our hands to the plow of almost four years. It will be four years in October. We are learning that everything happens in its season. Sometimes we are growing under the ground like a plant that is germinating. Sometimes we are being pruned. Sometimes we are producing fruit or gathering the harvest.
For as of now we are excited announce that our Pregnancy Center is open full time. We have been wanting to open since April but we have had things that we needed to have established well first. Starting something from the ground up isn’t an easy feat. Let alone doing it in a foreign developing country. We have been so grateful for all God has taught us along this journey.
The main building is dedicated to the Crisis Pregnancy Center. We have painted, sewn curtains, and got the rooms set up to meet girls where they are at. To help them process all the things that come with an unexpected pregnancy. The culture is hard to penetrate as abortion is readily available for less than a dollar or at the the most 3 dollars. It is really hard to find a way to help these girls but we continue to find ways to reach out and help them know we are here for them. We are going on the radio this week to advertise what we do and what are focuses are. They will be running our ad several times a day all month so we are very excited to take this leap of faith.
This is our new and updated sign post. We recreated both to be more simple and inviting to the senses. We are praying for every person that crosses through the thresh hold of our gate. That they would know Gods love for them and for their child. That both lives would be saved through the wonder working power of God’s word.
The Woven2Gether Consignment Store has opened its doors!!! We have our first sustainability project up an running! Praying that it works!! We have been so grateful for all the donations from all of you. We over the last few trips home have been able to bring your donations back to make it possible to begin the store. We are also now hoping that the local community will pour back into the store by consigning here. We also have places for vendors to help local crafters find a place to display and sell their merchandise. We are so excited to bring this opportunity to new and upcoming crafters.
