We are so excited to announce that we have been accepted into the Shell Lake Full Gospel Mission Conference this October as member Missionaries.
A little history with our journey with Shell Lake Full Gospel Church in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Todd and I were looking for a church that would be able to grow us in our faith. We wanted to know about the gifts about the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit Baptism and other bible truths that we didn’t know much about. We prayed and asked God to lead us to a church the could help us understand the things we were seeking.
We saw their website and called and talked with the Pastor. After our conversations we felt that God was leading us to go and visit. We did. Our first visit was an Easter Service. After that we attended on a regular basis. We helped with Sunday School, went to their missions conference every year and were amazed at what God was doing through His church across the world. We became members of the church and continued to attend bible studies when our schedules allowed. We truly felt at home for the season God had us there.
Then we were called onto the mission field in Uganda. We were called by God to leave to receive additional training that we would need to serve Him in Uganda. We were so grateful for our time at Shell Lake Full Gospel Church. I still attend when I am back and Todd is currently attending there when he is able. We are thankful for the friendships and support that are still in our lives from our time there.
They have an amazing missions conference. and support so so many missionaries from all over the world. It is so encouraging to see what God is doing and to be in the middle of all their testimonies. It is such a time of building faith and sharing testimonies. We are so excited that SLFG Church as welcomed us into he missionary family this year! We praise God for His making a way for us.
We would love to invite everyone to attend the conference at least one of the nights. It will change your life. The schedule is posted here so you can see what night will work best for you. At the end of each night there is time where each missionary is introduced and then they have a moment to share what their financial needs are and then there is a time of giving. God moves about and beyond what is ever expected during this time. He blesses abundantly those who serve Him on the mission field.
Come and worship and hear from missionaries who serve God with their lives on the field. We would love for you to come and hear from us and the speakers that night. You will be so glad you came.
