Bearing Fruit With Patience

We have’t done an update for awhile, so we thought we would share what God is doing through our Ministry in Uganda.

We have spent four years studying, praying, looking at Jehovah’s relationship with man and the heart of Yeshua as He reached the heart of those who wanted to know Him. We have learned the value of knowing Him and teaching others to know Him. We have learned that bearing fruit takes time and that there is work being done that we cannot see, but even still God is working.

Over the past year we have began to shift most of our focus to establish a discipleship program that will not only teach people how to study the bible, but also how to find Jehovah God and Yeshua His son throughout the Scriptures. John 17:3 teaches us, This is eternal life; that you know Jehovah and and the one whom He has sent (His Son Yeshua). We cannot find life apart from them. It isn’t knowing of them but intimately knowing them that brings us to them, and they are life. Growing an intimate relationship with them takes time. Fruit comes with much digging, planting and watering with no visual fruit for sometimes a very long time. It’s like planting an apple tree, you have to wait four to five years to get them to bear fruit. So it goes with discipleship focused on helping people intimately come to know Jehovah and His Son Yeshua as they study the word of God.

This past year the development of the discipleship program has been intensive but so exciting! We are going to be finishing up writing it by the end of this year. Then it will go for editing and hopefully printing sometime next year! We are currently teaching the program but writing it now to share with others. We pray hearts will come to know Jehovah and Yeshua in a deeper way than ever before as people are taught studying skills that will help them to learn how to see God’s heart, emotions and character throughout His word.

We take every opportunity we can to share the gospel with those that cross our paths daily. We have been able to share God’s redemptive message with our boda taxi drivers, car repair men, people who come to shop at our store, doctors, nurses, people on the planes when we are traveling. We may never get another opportunity to share with those we meet each day and so we take advantage of every God given opportunity we are given. Seeds planted. Hearts drawn and we trust Jehovah God to bring forth fruit as they continue to learn about who He is and what He did to save them.

We also have exciting updates on our radio show that we produce through the local radio station, Favor FM. We have now been on the radio now for a little over three months. We started with just one show on Friday’s but since have also increased our time to Monday’s as well. This particular radio station reaches all of the northern part of Uganda. We have so much potential to reach thousands of people if they are tuning in. We have had great feedback and are trusting Jehovah that many seeds are being planted and hearts are being changed as they are learning more about who Jehovah God is and who Yeshua is and their redemptive plan to save man.

Our vision for 2026 is in the works and we are praying to be able to begin reaching out to do more in person discipleship trainings in churches, in villages and with individuals who desire to learn more. We will be offering public in person classes twice a week; where those who attend will be given a section of the bible to study as bereans to learn how to dig into the Word of God. We will give them tools that will help them learn how to not only read it but how to study the Word in a way that will bring deep understanding and great connection with Jehovah.

We are also praying that God would continue to line things up so that we can begin a six month pastors training for twelve pastors. They will be taught how to be Bereans and test the Word of Jehovah to make sure that all they are teaching is biblically based and true interpretation of the Scriptures. They will also learn how to teach in a way that includes the listeners and brings them into the lessons so they can receive revelation from the Holy Spirit and also learn also how to study for themselves.

We continue to disciple privately anyone who wants one on one study time and this has been amazing for those who have continued with us for some time now. We are so blessed to be given this space in their lives to help give them gain a better understanding of who Jehovah God is. We are so blessed by our time with them.

I am currrently in the States for a few months celebrating the weddings of two of our sons. Caleb was granted his United States Citizenship in September so we are grateful to God for all He has done with and through Caleb. We are so blessed to have this little guy in our family.

We thank you for supporting our family and our ministry with your prayers and financial support. None of these lives could be changed without your help. If you would like to join our support team please click on the link below.
