While I was back in the United States, October through January, we had a few opportunities to rally support for one of our young mothers, who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl while I was gone. We also helped her auntie raise money by selling the animals that she made here in Uganda. I wanted to thank everyone who gave and supported this beautiful family. E was just offered another sewing class from her teacher because she works so hard. She is an amazing young women who is a great mother already.
In October we attended a mission conference and we had a few families give to E to receive a brand new sewing machine so she can put her sewing training to good use to help her provide for her new daughter. We had one other family donate towards her machine. We received enough support while I was home to buy four machines for four of our mothers that are willing to put in the work to go through the sewing training. We are excited to see what mom’s God brings to us this next year.
I wanted to share some photos and videos of E getting her sewing machine and also share a video and photos of auntie when she received the money from the sale of her African cloth animals that she had sewn for me to sell in the U.S.
